Justin Bonanno: 1st Day on the Job

My name is Justin Bonanno. I currently attend Bethel University and play on the NCAA Division III Men’s Hockey team. I am studying Finance and Marketing at Bethel. I have been hired by City Moving & Storage as a Marketing and Sales intern. One of my responsibilities will be updating the CMS blog on our website. I am truly grateful for the opportunity. I have been working in the moving industry since I was 17. With my 23^rd birthday coming up this November, I am approaching my 6 year anniversary in the moving industry.

During my first four years, I worked for a moving company in Spokane, WA. I had the nickname of “The Kid” because I was so young. The name of the company was Movher. It was a female owned moving company (yes that means we had pink trucks and pink uniforms!) People would always pass our truck and expect to see good looking young women. Unfortunately, they were greeted with 2 or 3 grizzled and smelly boys.

I moved out to Minnesota to begin my college years at Bethel University. My roommate helped me land a job at City Moving & Storage. I was excited to bring my skills to a new moving company. I have truly enjoyed my first two years at City Moving & Storage. The crew members are accepted me as part of the team right away. It was good feeling knowing that I was part of the guys. To this day, I have met some of my best friends at CMS. I really enjoy working with Bob, the owner. He is the smartest and most knowledgeable person I have ever met when it comes to moving. He has over 25 years of experience. I really like how he treats his customers. He is flexible and really wants to work with all of his customers. Through his hard work and dedication, he offers some of the best customer service in the Twin Cities.

Thank you guys for following me today! I will be writing articles every day. I will give you updates on City Moving & Storage and their employees. It is always going to be a fun short read.
